Whoop whoop I’m starting a new series on Inattendu: "Sports, please". Every now and then I will select the most beautiful pieces for all you top athletes out there.
Let’s start with running! Days are slowly getting colder but there’s no excuse those to stay inside as these items will keep you warm and dry. Antibacterial Sport Spray from The Laundress (refreshes activewear and equipment between uses) // GPS Sportswatch from Nike // Longsleeved Running Shirt from Falke // Nike Performance Bra // Black Nike Performance Running Jacket // Adidas by Stella McCartney Bottoms // Nike Thermal Running Gloves.
On my radar: 1) The girls from Todayis came up with this terrific melon print “Vattenmelon” from Designkvarter. // 2) I totally need a rain jacket for fall. What about this K-Way classic in a reversible version? // 3) Would wear every single piece of Atea’s FW2014 collection, which is now available. // 4) How to create a minimalist bookcase: just squeeze some books between two pipes. Via La Maison d’Anna G.
I don’t know, but “minimalist me” has somehow developed a weakness for the cheerful designs of Lisa Bengtsson. Since 2007 she creates wallpapers, fabrics, porcelains and posters with “love, happiness and personality”. Why the hell not?
I already wrote about my favourite Belgian label: Rue Blanche and about how much I’m in awe with their terrific FW 2014 collection. Here’s a little reminder: the collection is now available! I’m thinking about getting my hands on the coat in the first picture – what do you think?
Some lovely news: 1.) Bisou x Maanii have teamed up for a limited edition collection and I’m smitten with those big tassels! // 2.) Jooolry is a Stockholm-based jewelry line with spare, geometric pieces that retain a sense of warmth and play. Love! Via Trendland. 3.) My favourite label Perret Schaad has finally(!) launched their online shop, starting with “Arnaud” and “Frank”, two pieces they have been approached to redo season after season again, by their most loyal costumers in a new set of colours. 4.) This suspension lamp "Lumière de Rêve is now available at Studio Oink selected and you can choose between twelve great cable colours.
How amazeballs is Bolia’s new collection? I went through their lookbook and fell in love with almost every single item of the 250 new designs. The new collection’s style is Nordic, but some designs are with a splash of daring colours, some stained in different grey tones and even some are inspired by the silhouette’s of Japanese designs, with minimalistic and sculptural shapes. The materials used are wood, leather, velour, metallic surfaces as brass and gold, coloured glass and marble. More pictures after the jump!
The easiest way to fight the current heatwave is to take a cool shower. Let’s talk about my current favourites from Susanne Kaufmann: the shower/shampoo is shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and skin care in one and smells very fresh of herbs while the tensides contained in the shower/shampoo are obtained from sugar which makes it especially skin-friendly and PH-neutral. After stepping out of the refreshing shower I love to apply the body lotion, which absorbs very quickly (a big plus on hot summer days!). Fine poppy seed oil and vitamin E leave the skin pampered with a velvety feeling. For all my Swiss readers – you can get your Susanne Kaufmann products at this lovely onlineshop: rd-fm.
PS: I’m going to spend a few days at Susanne Kaufmann’s Hotel Post Bezau soon and I can’t wait to try out more of her organic beauty products. Stay tuned!
