Some lovely news: 1.) Bisou x Maanii have teamed up for a limited edition collection and I’m smitten with those big tassels! // 2.) Jooolry is a Stockholm-based jewelry line with spare, geometric pieces that retain a sense of warmth and play. Love! Via Trendland. 3.) My favourite label Perret Schaad has finally(!) launched their online shop, starting with “Arnaud” and “Frank”, two pieces they have been approached to redo season after season again, by their most loyal costumers in a new set of colours. 4.) This suspension lamp "Lumière de Rêve is now available at Studio Oink selected and you can choose between twelve great cable colours.
How amazeballs is Bolia’s new collection? I went through their lookbook and fell in love with almost every single item of the 250 new designs. The new collection’s style is Nordic, but some designs are with a splash of daring colours, some stained in different grey tones and even some are inspired by the silhouette’s of Japanese designs, with minimalistic and sculptural shapes. The materials used are wood, leather, velour, metallic surfaces as brass and gold, coloured glass and marble. More pictures after the jump!
The easiest way to fight the current heatwave is to take a cool shower. Let’s talk about my current favourites from Susanne Kaufmann: the shower/shampoo is shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and skin care in one and smells very fresh of herbs while the tensides contained in the shower/shampoo are obtained from sugar which makes it especially skin-friendly and PH-neutral. After stepping out of the refreshing shower I love to apply the body lotion, which absorbs very quickly (a big plus on hot summer days!). Fine poppy seed oil and vitamin E leave the skin pampered with a velvety feeling. For all my Swiss readers – you can get your Susanne Kaufmann products at this lovely onlineshop: rd-fm.
PS: I’m going to spend a few days at Susanne Kaufmann’s Hotel Post Bezau soon and I can’t wait to try out more of her organic beauty products. Stay tuned!
The Jacquemus x La Redoute collection is finally available online and I wouldn’t mind the short sweater and the pleated skirt // Byredo is coming up with a selection of handmilled soap bars for summer, would also make a nice gift // The Plant Poster from Céline Saby for Atelier Beau Travail doesn’t need to be watered // My cheap old electric kettle recently gave up the ghost and now I’m looking for a new one. Maybe I should go for a classic like the Hot.it from Alessi designed by Wiel Arets? // White sneakers from Sandro "Baskets Athlète" – a big yes!
Good morning lovelies, I thought it was time to change my blog design a little bit, I’m very happy now and I hope you like it, too!
Recently I was looking for a new record shelf for my collection (and everbody who owns a record collection knows how difficult it is to find something unique) and I jumped for joy when I stumbled upon the furniture of Elsa Randé. She choses to use plastic cords as her principal materials. And the best thing is, her furniture can be personalised by choosing the color of the cords, the type of wood or the furniture legs.
Bassike nails it again. And my love for white sneakers is still unbroken. Gah, will this ever stop? Pictures via Vogue Australia.
How was your weekend, lovelies? I didn’t spend much time at home but I’m coming up with some home inspo anyway… this time with the beautiful work of interior stylist Emma Hos. Oh and have you seen the cinnamon buns in the first picture? Best home accessory ever.
