To be honest, I haven’t worn earrings IN YEARS. I just didn’t care about them. But then I saw this picture of Suvi Riggs for i-D Pre-Spring 2013 that finally changed my mind. Quickly I developed a serious obsession with minimalistic earrings – maybe even have them in a row? Have a gander at my favourites 1) Paillettes Earcuff from Saskia Diez // 2) Auxo Studs from Paper And Chain, 23 EUR // 3) Silver Creoles from Arena Copenhagen via Styleserver, 119 EUR // 4) Mini Back To Basic Circlce Earrings from Upper Metal Class, 30 EUR // 5) Silver Chain Earstuds from Lou Savoir via Styleserver, 89 EUR // 6) For sissies: No Piercing Circle Ear Cuffs from ArianrhodWolfchild, 6 EUR. I think I’m having an ear party now!
Today I’m madly in love with the apartment of Andres Damm. Although it’s very minimalistic with lots of grey, black and white those quirky little details that make it complete. More pictures here.
Enough said, now I’m leaving for another ski holiday, but I will be back soon.
If it was summer tomorrow, I would totally start a street gang with this shiny, silky combo from WOOD WOOD: Nova Top and Aino Shorts and this shiny, snakey NIKE AIR Force Mid 1 Premium iD designed by me.
The Slip-On – I can feel it coming. This summer I won’t go anywhere without my slip-ons. Here are my favourites: 1) Perforated White Leather Slip-Ons from Vince via Shopbop, 175 EUR // 2) Kurt Geiger Croc Leather Slip-Ons, 128 EUR // 3) Leather Slip-On from Céline // 4) Classic White Canvas Slip-On from Vans via Zalando, 65 EUR // 5) Royal Blue Leather Baskets Anaconda from Sandro, 275 EUR // 6) Paisley Print Silk Slip-Ons from Givenchy via Colette 395 EUR
And you, boys, you should go for: 1) Suede Slip-On from Common Projects via Norse Store, 214 EUR // 2) Acne Hans Otto Striped Slip-On, 320 EUR // 3) Alexander McQueen Black Leather Slip-Ons via Matches, 305 EUR // 4) Classic Black Slip-On from Vans via Zalando currently, 38 EUR // 5) Printed Vans via Asos, 40 EUR
As you already might have noticed I’ve got a weakness for versatile objects and today I’m loving this wardrobe from young German designer SARAH BÖTTGER. Because SKALE is more than just a wardrobe, it can be a side table, a shoe shelf or a storage where you can arrange your next day’s outfit. Sarah is currently looking for a producer, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that they can start production soon!
Though I spend almost all my free time in the mountains these days, those pretty thingies somehow made it to my wardrobe (onlineshopping is the magic word)! My long-awaited black Sac Bretelle from CLARE VIVIER // the Nude Leather Sandals from MANGO (thanks for the tip, Mija!) // a super-leightweight blouse from HIEN LE with lovely shoulder detail which I purchased in sale at Voo Store // "La Tulipe” from BYREDO – the perfect perfume for spring, crisp and tender (a sweet little gift from the best Dad in the world) // and the book I’ve just read: ”Verspielte Jahre” from Laura Karasek, a thought-provoking story about a young woman who desperately tries to find her way through our generation’s jungle of possibilities.
Organic Cotton Pure Bedlinen from Hay // Small Bubble Pendant Light from George Nelson via Liberty // Wallpaint “Skylight from Farrow & Ball // Leaf Table Lamp from Muuto via Finnishdesignshop // Bowl Table from Mater
I’m lacking words: Ter et Bantine’s Prefall 2013 collection! I want to hibernate the next winter in the yellow padded coat.
I’m back from a fantastic winter-powder-sunshine-holiday! But after this whiteout, I totally need some colour. And those bags and leather cuffs from LIZZY DISNEY give me monster cravings! Available at one of my favourite onlineshops: MNZ Store – by the way I think they did a great styling job and sort of force me to buy those insane Karate Pants from Jasmin Shokrian.
On my wishlist for spring: a Chiffon Bralette from Oysho // Plum Partially Sueded Sandals from A.P.C. // Acne Lavender Pat Degrade Cherry Shirt via Liberty // Luv AJ Purple Bracelet from their fantastic “Rainbow Collection” // Shorts Palmier from Sandro (!).
But fortunately it’s still winter and I’ll be off now for a few days skiing. See you soon!
My favourite looks from Kenzo Pre-Fall 2013. All Black & White, you know? OK, and a hint of powder pink. Powder pink is always a good idea. via Style.com
Allons enfants! Although I’m “French made” and have travelled to France a number of times, I’ve never made it to Paris (yet). But this might change soon. I immediately felt the urge to pack my bags and head to Paris when I discovered this lovely boutique hotel. The Hotel Paradis, located in the 10th arrondissement, between the Gard Du Nord and Montmartre, has recently been transformed by interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon into a quirky, sophisticated mixture of midcentury furniture, handpainted wallpapers and modern elements. Allons-y!
