Now that I’ve solved the problems with the piles of magazines next to my bed, there comes another one: once piled up you can’t see all the beautiful covers anymore. I feel the urge to exhibit my favourite magazines with "Guidelines", a minimalistic metal magazine rack from Dutch designer Frederik Roijé. Available in black and white in different sizes here.
Wooden floors and grey walls are such a perfect team. I especially love the working place of this space, I totally see myself sitting there upon this platform… working and ruling the world. Oh yes.
Styled by the amazing Studio Bakker.
Am I the only one whose bedside is covered with huge (I mean HUUUUUUUUUUGE) piles of books and magazines? Whenever I try to remove a pile, within a couple of days a new one is growing. So I’ve decided to make a virtue of necessity by putting a lamp on the piles and turning them into a proper bedside table. I think the matte-lacquered Olive Lamp from Numéro 111 for Ligne Roset would be the perfect solution. I especially love it for its indirect light source which creates a soft and warm atmosphere.
It was love at first sight with my new silver Bullet 2 Ring from Trine Tuxen. Trine’s beautiful pieces are now available at Adélie and I couldn’t resist. I love how versatile it is – sometimes I wear it on my ring finger, sometimes above the knuckle of my middle finger and sometimes with the bullet in the center or moved to the side.
I’ve been coveting the porcelain lamps from STUDIO WM for quite a while now and went on their website for another visit when I stumbled about this picture of an exhibition in the Pink Room of the Oranienbaum Palace. My inner princess was delighted!
"Those gradient lamps are terrific, I’m gonna die! I need them in my boudoir. And where the hell is this gorgeous sofa from?” asked my inner princess.
"I’ll identify it. Your wish is my command", said my inner truffle pig and started researching.
And tadaaa! inner truffle pig succeded! The sofa is called “The Rits” (what a name!), designed by Bertjan Pot for Gelderland.
