I really love this gorgeous hand dyed cotton and leather pouch from Canadian label Scout and Catalogue. Breanna Musgrove, the creative mind behind the label, got her inspiration from the bohemian beach culture of Mexico, where she had lived for one year. Each item of the Scavanger Series is made of salvaged thrift store materials and distressed Italian leather. It can be used as a versatile carry-all, travel companion or evening clutch. I think it would be great to store all my pencils and brushes.

I also love her beautiful scarves.

I love their simplicity and the premium materials – they remind me a bit of the backpacks mountaineers used in the first decades of the last century. These fabulous bags from Adaism look like common paper bags but are in fact made of very soft leather with a snap closure and are very pleasant to touch. They are handmade with love – either crafted by small Portuguese manufacturers or created in their own studio in Lisbon and only available in small editions. And these nice soft colours… what can I say – it was love at first sight!
