DIP-DYED ZIPPER POUCH

I really love this gorgeous hand dyed cotton and leather pouch from Canadian label Scout and Catalogue. Breanna Musgrove, the creative mind behind the label, got her inspiration from the bohemian beach culture of Mexico, where she had lived for one year. Each item of the Scavanger Series is made of salvaged thrift store materials and distressed Italian leather. It can be used as a versatile carry-all, travel companion or evening clutch. I think it would be great to store all my pencils and brushes.

I also love her beautiful scarves.

I really have a crush on the crystal trend and I’ve been searching for a mineral cocktail ring for weeks. Then I stumbled upon jewelry designer Briana Rose of five and two and her amazing, surreal collection of shimmery minerals. Adorable!

I’m completey smitten with these beautiful vibrant bracelets created by Sarah Murphy for her label Hey Murphy. They’re hand wrapped in embroidery floss and finished with brass findings. And if you should have small wrists like I have, just send her an e-mail with your size to make sure that it will fit. Perfect!

These beautiful waterproof canvas bags from Sketchbook recently caught my eye. I love their simplicity and the premium materials – they remind me a bit of the backpacks mountaineers used in the first decades of the last century. The bags can be made custom in different colours and sizes. Sketchbook also offers a great range of satchels or notebookbags. A great gift for men who are always on the go!

Of course you can wear your old tees in bed. Or just nothing. That’s totally OK. Her aromatherapy soaps, candles, lotions, washes and other pampering products are available in different scents like Fig Leaf, Milk & Honey, White Gardenia, Vintage Peony, Sea Salt & Lavender or Green Tea (just to mention a few). As I’m a graphic designer with a big passion for beautiful packaging I’d love to decorate my whole bathroom with these lovely products! By the way they are also great as small presents…

UP IN THE AIR SOMEWHERE

I’m so fascinated with the colour effects of these beautiful paper maché bowls and vessels made by Susan Dwyer from Chicago! I’d love to decorate the big bowls with fruits and the small ones are perfect to collect rings, keys and all the other small things. Although they’re made of paper maché the vessels are water resistant – handmade with a stiff paper maché process and polyurethaned. You can purchase them here in her onlineshop. I think I’ll definitely go for the big golden bowl!
