20 HANGERS WARDROBE

I finally found a solution for my narrow entry: The 20 Hangers Wardrobe from brilliant Italian designer Alice Rosignoli. With its light structure and designed to be fixed on ceiling or wall it’s perfect for all small spaces. Made of 20 common wood hangers and black ropes it transforms everyday goods into a new function. So simple it’s genius!

DIY IKEA STORAGE

Striking idea: the creative minds behind Livet Hemma used different plywood “Prant” boxes to build this stunning modular storage system. They painted the insides with lovely soft pastel shades and fixed them with simple paperclips. I also love how much creative potential this idea has – I might give it a try!

CORD LAMP
OH how I love my new cord lamp from Brendan Ravenhill! It’s made of Porcelain, Steel, Aluminum and Cloth Cord and looks just like a modern interpretation of Jean Prouve’s Swing Jib Lamp.

VESA SAMMALISTO’S HELSINKI HOME

Dude, how beautiful is that airy Helsinki home of illustrator Vesa Sammalisto and his little family featured on Design Sponge! The cheerful mix of midcentury furniture and modern design builds such a nice contrast with the white painted wooden floor. I love especially the clever combination of Eames chairs together with the Fanett Chairs from Tapiovaara.

You don’t know what to do with all your beautiful bits and bobs, pictures, fleamarket finds and souvenirs? Just change your wall into a little museum with these fantastic clear acrylic boxes (“Display Me”) and type cases (“Curiosity Box”) from HAY.

PETITE FRITURE LOOP SHELF

It was love at first sight when I discovered the Loop Shelf by Amandine Chhor for Petite Friture, because it has got the perfect dimensions to be hanged above your bed, desk or sofa! It’s the result of a research made in a factory specialized in soldered steel wire, on how to generate new curves by optimizing the constraints of the industrial production of storage trolleys. I just love the idea of putting my favourite photos or postcards between the wires. Loop Shelf comes in two colours – lemon yellow or white – and will be available from September on.
