GON AW 2013/14

Today I’m loving the AW 2013/14 collection from GON, a young Austrian label founded by Christina Steiner, a graduate of Raf Simons and Veronique Branquinho at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Especially the nitfy accessories (light pink combined with metallic green, wohoo!) have caught my eye. Available in their own webshop.

LULU & CO RESORT 2014

Yeah, I guess I like Lulu & Co’s Resort 14 collection! It emerged from a collaboration with Beverly Ealdama, a Californian high school student and illustrator, Lulu Kennedy discovered on tumblr. I’d love to wear a one of those sweaters with Beverly’s cheeky slogans. Pictures via WWD

MASHA REVA X SNDCT/ODESSA SERIES

I can still remember how thrilled I was when Masha Reva came up with her Botanical Layers x SNDCT collection and now she nails it again. The “Odessa Series” is her latest cooperation with Syndicate. And you can be sure that I will be there when it hits the stores. Find more pictures at Madame Peripetie. Via the lovely See. blog.

I think there is something that has to be added to my “Belgian stuff I love”-list: Rue Blanche's FW 2013 collection. Right after Belgian Waffles and Moules-Frites.

A NEW ON- AND OFFLINE CONCEPT STORE: THE LINE

imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage

To be honest, often when I’m sitting in front of my computer late at night, tired after my dayjob, I ask myself “Why the hell am I doing this?”. But then, like today, I discover something and in an instant I realize that this is one of those moments of bliss, moments that make blogging worth it. What I’m talking about is the first collection of Protagonist, a collection of refined essentials designed by Kate Wendelborn, that makes its debut on The Line, an exciting New York based concept and e-commerce site. The Line is the latest endeavour from fashion stylists Morgan Wendelborn and Vanessa Traina, with their vision to sell a quintessential range of carefully selected goods from emerging names across fashion, home and beauty (like Reed Krakoff, Vince, Christophe Lemaire or Rodin). And all those goods also come together in the intimate context of an”off-line home”: The Apartment – a boutique that will be the starting point for discussions, workshops, screenings, dinners and other events.
